About Me
Hello!
I’m excited to share my story with you.
Professional life:
My professional path wasn’t a conventional one. After completing high school, I embarked on a university education but soon realised it wasn’t the right fit for me at that time. Embracing change, I moved to the UK at age 20, facing the significant challenge of limited English proficiency.
I initially took on various temporary jobs, which were both humbling and enlightening experiences. My persistence paid off when I was fortunate enough to secure an entry-level position in a financial services company. This marked the beginning of an incredible 12-year career in the industry.
My journey in the financial sector was a steep learning curve. I started at a point where taking a phone call was daunting – understanding the conversation was a struggle in itself! However, with determination and a growth mindset, I evolved significantly in my career. I am proud to have advanced up to the Director position for the American post-trade financial services company providing clearing and settlement services to the financial markets, managing Global Business Operations, overseeing activities across 250 jurisdictions, coordinating four office locations, and leading a dynamic team of over 140 people across multiple shifts.
My pursuit of self-improvement continued beyond my career in finance. Following my 30th birthday, I experienced a renewed curiosity for academic learning. I was sure that an MBA was the next step in my journey. Drawing upon my extensive professional background and a comprehensive portfolio of corporate social responsibility activities, I applied for further education. Remarkably, I was accepted into the Online MBA program at Warwick Business School. This program is esteemed globally, holding the second-best in the world ranking by the Financial Times.
This period has been both difficult and transformative. This journey encompasses more than professional achievements; it signifies profound personal development. Overcoming language barriers, adapting to new cultures, and navigating various roles contributed to my growth.
Personal life:
I am in a committed, long-term relationship with my British boyfriend. We have been sharing our lives for over a decade. Together, we are the proud pet parents of two delightful cats, Bella and Bentley. We have made our home in Chester, Cheshire (UK), where we own a house and enjoy our life together.
My call to coaching
The call to be a coach has been a constant undercurrent throughout my career.
In my role as a people leader, my focus extended beyond achieving operational goals. I have always been deeply committed to nurturing the growth and capabilities of those around me. Leadership, for me, has been about supporting people not only in their professional endeavors but also in navigating their personal life challenges. I have also explored the academic side of coaching via my dissertation, which is dedicated to the field of life coaching.
I firmly believe in the transformative power of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning. These principles have guided my approach both as a leader and as a coach. My mission is to offer guidance and support to those seeking personal and professional fulfilment. My journey is about empowering you to unlock your potential and navigate your path with confidence and clarity.
I love enriching and empowering the lives of others through coaching and mentoring.
